Day 4 Preview: What to Look For

After the dramatic five setter today on court Phillipe Chatrier, we now move to the second round. Tomorrow looks to be a bit more calm, but there are a few matches worth watching. Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are both in action, but they are playing relative unknowns who shouldn't pose much of a threat, so tomorrow is a perfect day to check out some other matches. Espn3.com and Tennischannel.com are two great sites that stream many courts (legally too!). After the break, some matches to watch.

The last match of the day on Susanne Langlen court should be the most exciting. Igor Andreev plays Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and these are two players that can play on clay. The last match of the day usually brings out the most raucous crowds, and Tsonga always is a crowd-favorite. Andreev has a win over Nadal in Rome from two years ago, and always plays his best on clay. On the women's side, Vera Zvonareva plays in the Bullring (Court 1) against Sabine Lisicki, the German. What is perhaps the most interesting match of the day for American fans is between Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Varvara Lepchenko, two American women. This assures that one American woman will make it into the third round, which is a rarity for anyone without the last name Williams. Caroline Wozniacki also looks to continue her run in this tournament against low-ranked Alexandra Wozniak. Another men's match that has no bearing at all on the draw but will be entertaining is the match between Fabio Fognini and Stephane Robert. Both are ranked very low, Robert at 140 and Fognini at 49, but after Robert's upset of Berdych and Fognini's craziness, this will be entertaining.

Main Event of the Day: Igor Andreev vs. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
Undercard Match Worth Watching: Richard Gasquet vs. Marcel Granollers, two accomplished clay-courters
Upset Possibility of the Day: Andreas Seppi over Thomaz Bellucci
